Listen to your body- is there a pattern to the pain?... was there a moment where you knew you had hurt yourself?... was it traumatic physically or did it creep up gradually?... what makes it worse/ better?...

Gain knowledge- “Google it” we have access to the biggest library ever, (obviously you will read worst case scenarios as well as best) but be sensible don’t get paranoid, get knowledge!  

If it is inflamed and sore put an ice pack on it for 1 minute and take off for 2 mins, repeat often. Ice is a great natural anti- inflammatory and painkiller. 

Always keep moving- get in the frame of mind to keep going until you find help, movement stimulates healing, preferably be outside, as sunlight stimulates production of vitamin D3 which is essential for healing.

Do something about it- resolve to listen to your body, your body is in a constant subconscious dialogue with your mind, trust it, it knows what it needs, it is self healing and always on your side seeking your good. It is worth investing some of your time in it, your body will love you for it. 

Seek help- go where you have been recommended and to someone you trust. Always judge the therapist on results not words, always ask how many treatments you need, don’t leave yourself open to spending endless hard earned money.Your body wants to move on to the next adventure.
